Bio
Brad Parker is a fine art photographer based in San Jose, California. The power of nature is a driving force in his photography. Growing up surrounded by nature in the Boy Scouts, Parker finds great inspiration in nature, which influences his photography. He began studying photography as a young adult and pursued photography for his undergraduate studies. Parker shoots with both digital and film photography, and recently he has developed an affinity for the Holga camera and medium format film. Landscape, both natural and urban, is a common theme in his black and white photography. His photographic roots are in film photography; Parker enjoys the organic darkroom process and shooting film. His work has been showed in galleries West Valley College and San Jose State University, and the Emerging Artist Exhibition at CSU East Bay featuring his latest works. Parker Continues to explore his appreciation for nature by capturing it’s natural beauty in his photography.
Curriculum Vitae
I am a Photographer with the aim of shooting Fine Art Photography. Shooting with both Film and Digital Photography are my passions. I print and process in the traditional medium of darkroom film printing and digital printing. Shooting black and white landscapes of both the man made and natural kind I a common theme throughout my work. My goal is to take critiqued feedback as I work and improve with the aim to be better than the day before.
